"Doctor" Minor is the lowest of the low. When he endeavored to treat me he failed to even look at the x-ray he ordered taken. I was at that time suffering from an undiagnosed hip problem. Minor had the x-ray but didn't bother to read it. I was in tremendous pain and he wouldn't see me but had some assistant accuse me of taking my pain meds too soon. Indeed, I had taken them too soon because of the pain I was in. Long story short, I got to a real doctor, an orthopedist at Verdugo Hills hospital, who looked at the x-rays (and the MRI, CT scans, all of it) and told me I needed to have an immediate hip replacement. "Doctor" Minor just assumed I was a drug abuser, I guess. He also wanted to schedule a nerve damage test, which is extremely painful. I asked him what his rationale for that was and he dropped the subject. If Minor was even minimally competent he would have read the x-ray. Then he would have seen the hip destroyed by arthritis and could have checked me into the hospital and gotten me help. This happened a few years back. The reason I am posting now is because I lost his last name and only found it in some old records when cleaning out my drafts file the other day. Find yourself a real doctor. This guy is not it. One last thing: my friend who drove me to the appointment asked for water at one point. The receptionist told him water is for "patients only." I said, "Give him my ration." This is the level of people you're dealing with. Total low life, the bottom of the medical community. Not even a minimal standard of care, such as reading an x-ray. You can do better anywhere else.

Dr. Minor is a kind and Intelligent Doctor who is intelligent on what works best. The office scheduled me for an appointment at 4:30 on a Friday Holiday weekend and I was being rushed so a drug test could be preformed. I am paralyzed from the waist down and I have no idea if and when I am can go. The staff then started to flash the lights on and off which it guaranteed that it was even harder to go Then when my test back they said I had some drugs that I had never taken. Dr. Minor understood that I was unaware of why they would have been in my system He also does some update spinal cord stimulator to help with the pain It is a good alternative to just having drugs that wear off quick and the Spinal cord stimulator gives you more consistent coverage. A very kind doctor which is rare that is rare this day and time. I highly recommend him as special doctor that listens to you. Thank you Dr. Minor.

Horrible customer service by front office
Staff specifically named Gabby who
Is giving false names saying her name is Susan , playing phone games with patients who is in dire need of medical help. Requesting to
Speak to the DR. Also I were told on multiple occasions after I tested that I had different drugs in my system other than what was prescribed to me I found that strange since I don’t do any Drugs I do not even drink alcohol But now After reading other reviews about this Dr office I see I’m not the only Patient
Who has experienced being told there were other drugs in there system other than what is being prescribed something Is going on .

My daughter was mistreated by Dr Minor's office staff. They made her wait for appointments when it was obvious she was in pain. She wanted to make an appointment to get a shot in his office, but they gave her a hard time and insisted she do it in the hospital. Finally, she was scheduled for an injection in the hospital that she had waited 6 weeks for. They called while we were in the car on the way to the hospital saying that they didn't have insurance authorization. My daughter was devastated! Now she has to find a new doctor, have another MRI before he will see her, and hassle with her insurance company. This is outrageous!

Dr Minor is a kind, compassionate and most importantly knowledgeable physician with expertise in acute and chronic pain management. Based on my four years + as a patent with Dr Minor I can see that he treats each patient individually - and each office visit - uniquely. He will work up a treatment plan and adjusts that plan overtime as your condition improves and/or you have a setback. He uses all the tools at his disposal to treat your condition but always acts on long standing obligation of any great physican to “first do no harm” and encourages you to work with other specialists based on your medical needs. I strongly - and without - any hesitation recommend Dr Minor.

Decent care in the beginning, but my condition didn't improve much over two years so they basically wanted rid of me (!). Doctors couldn't remember verbally agreeing to disability, either. When I brought the forms for that, weeks went by with no word, then reception told me the doctors said no, explaining they are very busy, didn’t remember that conversation, and that I needed to schedule separate appointments for things like that, rather than bringing it up in my monthly appointments. That was odd and damaging as I had begun arrangements with my employer. Doctors were overworked and distracted, always checking messages and/or getting pulled away during an appointment. Reception was icy and grumpy too. Now, if you ever move to Palm Springs, there’s a great clinic there ... Center of Excellence ...

Excellent Pain Mgmnt Dr. genuinely cares for his patients and reducing patient pain level. Does what most Dr.'s are to afraid to do now a days....prescribe pain meds to those whom need it. Totally on the up and up. Monitors patients medication use, drug tests, does not prescribe to any John Q Citizen. In other words not a pill pusher to anyone with a pulse that has severely impacted pain Mgmnt. Have and will continue treatment and refer him to family and friends should it ever be needed.
