Nurse practitioner AJ is absolutely amazing. Listen to all my concerns and addressed everything. I highly recommend that you come here and see him instead of others

Was scheduled for a regular follow up. I was greeted by a friendly staff. Daphne and the rest of staff made me feel welcomed and cared about. I was seen exactly at the time I was scheduled. I was then seen by AJ, nurse practitioner. We reviewed my blood works and the results of other tests that had been scheduled. I am very satisfied with the level of care that I received from this office.

Very RUDE individual answering phone call.
I initially called expecting to get an appointment with Dr. Lopez at Cypress Medical Center but the individual answering the phone greeted me (the patient) by just saying "PCC Medical". I asked is this "Dr Lopez' office?". I got the reply "No, this is PCC Medical". I asked again, "isn't this the number for Dr Lopez' office?". The individual on the other end again repeated "No this is PCC Medical". I asked "Dr Lopez isn't there any more?", the individual answering the phone just replied "He left". I stated "I didn't know he left" which the only response was "we didn't either". My issue with this call was first the individual answering the phone was neither pleasant by greeting the customer with a proper friendly greeting nor helpful for a confused patient.
I've worked in the medical career field for over 20yrs in the USAF and was in charge of a number of different clinics throughout my career. This is not how you treat your customers or potential customers. Anyone with even the smallest amount of customer service training especially in the medical career field know this is unacceptable and not how you respond to customers/patients.

Where do I begin? Made appointment with Dr Lopez as I was his patient years ago before moving out of state, until someone else walked in the room I was given NO indication that I would not be seeing Dr. Lopez. I still don’t know who came in the room as he came in with no introduction, no hand shake, no “my name is…” ! Was he even a doctor? Who knows! He ask a the same questions over and over - yet - NEVER completed an actual exam. Did not listen to lungs, heart, look in mouth, nothing! No - I do mean NO exam. Said he was calling in my meds - that was Friday- pharmacy has nothing and today is now Wednesday. Pharmacy called on Monday and has not got a call back. I was to see a cardiologist and they were to make referral- again, nothing. I’m not chasing down an office to do their job! Much less the fact that nothing is electronic here. I’m required to drive to the office days ahead to do paper work when most other offices have it online, you can’t email this place either. Honestly, I’m suspicious of the legality of this office. So, back to trying to find an actual care provider with a staff that knows what they’re doing - this is not it! If you e yet to go here - look elsewhere, save your time, money, and aggravation .
I did call to report this to my insurance company; they said they’ll check into it.

Dr Akshay Patel excellent performance during my health exam deserves recognition. He explained every aspect of the exam to me in a clear and concise manner, ensuring that I understood everything. Dr. Patel's kindness and friendliness also made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the process. I must also commend the staff for their exceptional service. They were helpful, patient, and made the entire experience a positive one. Thank you 🙂

Doctor I had was very helpful and took time to answer all of my questions even some that were insurance based. Would have given 5 stars, however front end dropped the ball on call back and following up on certain things. I must say thou they are extremely nice and helpful when in front of them

The nurses and the girls at the desk are great, took good care of me and were very polite. Unfortunately, the doctor seems to not have any respect for people’s time as he left before my SCHEDULED appointment time. I did the impossible to get a sitter, lost a day of work and the doctor just “left before anyone could stop him” Doesn’t make me feel too confident about getting my care with a doctor that has no consideration for his patients. Very disappointed, came with a problem left with no solutions, just frustrated.

I will start by saying that in the beginning I thought this office would be the best fit for my father in law. I personally work in the medical field and have praised him as I have knowledge of him from working at the WHH with him years ago. I give his name to quite a few of our "snow birds" that come down and need a PCP. When my father in law needed help we brought him down to Florida and have done our best to try to get him the medical care that he needs. We informed every provider that we called that he had a NY State Medicare HMO policy. Dr. Lopez's office assured me that they accepted his insurance. My father in law has seen him a few times and Dr. Lopez has done his best to try to help in any way possible. Well, new year has come and my father in law went to see Dr. Lopez yesterday to receive his blood work results. He was turned away immediately and a woman in his office handed a huge box of medical records that were sent to them from the physician up north, to my father in law and promptly told him that they will no longer be seeing him because his insurance has not paid them. My father in law received a statement last Friday in the amount of $270 and had intentions of paying that bill. There was no phone call to my father in law, my husband, or myself to inform us that he will no longer be seen in their office. Instead they pushed him off to another doctor. He was at a loss of what to do and how to handle the situation. He is 71 years old and knows nothing about Florida. Communication prior to this happening would have been nice. When ever you try to call their office, no one answers the phone, you have to leave a message and hope that they call you back. Of course when I called yesterday to inform them that his ins was now straight Medicare they never called me back because they had already turned him away. This was very rude and unprofessional. It's disappointing really. I work in a very busy medical office and we would never just let a patient walk in to an appointment and blind side them with this kind of treatment. I would only hope that they change their communication methods and realize that how they perform reflects on the doctor and the way the doctor treats their patients creates reviews like this. Very sad. And unfortunately I will no longer refer my patients to him.
