I remember the George Carlin routine where he pokes fun at doctors saying that somewhere out there is the worst doctor in the world, and someone has an appointment with him tomorrow.

Well, somewhere out there, is the best neurosurgeon in the world. And I think Doctor Jethwa fits the bill. His technical skills are obviously top-notch, but his personality is great too. Some doctors tend to dismiss patient concerns, but Doctor Jethwa has an awesome bedside manner. He explained everything very clearly, took the time to answer my many questions with patience and understanding. By the time I went in for the surgery, I was completely relaxed and confident.
The results of the surgery were better than expected. I was very comfortable afterward, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff followed up numerous times and when I did have the need to speak to him, he called back promptly. He answered my questions and made sure I was ok
I would highly recommend Dr. Jethwa to family and friends, so feel free to trust my judgment. I'm a bit of a baby when it comes to surgery, and these guys coddled me all the way through. Feel confident that you'll be in good hands.

Hello! If you are reading my review of Doctor Pinakin Jethwa and his wonderful staff, please consider this... "your sign".
I'm giving this review in my own words and from my experiences, from beginning to end, and also, I was not referred, or knew Doc Jethwa, or any of the professionals that work with him, before our first consult. I stepped out in faith... and I hope my words can help someone to make a decision to get help from this amazing doctor, Pinakin Jethwa.
I'm not supposed to give specifics on my health problems in this review, but if you are reading this you probably know that Doctor Pinakin Jethwa is a neurosurgeon, for brain and/or back.
My consult with Doctor Jethwa was thorough, and he really listened to me and my history with my health. He is accompanied by his nurse, Angela, for my consult, and they both are so down to earth and made me feel at ease. We went over my recent MRI, He explained to me, clearly, and in laymans terms, the findings and his expertise in offering solutions. NEVER any pressure from Doc Jethwa, or anyone to make a decision on the solutions he offered, when consult was over.
I decided to go with his treatment plan, and I thank my Higher Power every day, to cross my path with my surgeon, Pinakin Jethwa.
Doctor Jethwa's team took care of everything insurance wise... they cover all stops making sure you get maximum benefits, and coordinated all appointments, continuously keeping me updated.
Angela, and Carmen, God Bless you ladies!
These ladies went above and beyond with kindness and patience with me, and they will do it for you too!
I am writing this a year post procedure, and I'm here to say, that there are no words than can touch my gratitude for the miracle of crossing paths with ANS and the very BEST Neurosurgeon, Doctor Pinakin Jethwa!, and his team....Surgical Assistant, Doc Dean, nurse Angela, and Carmen.
The most caring and compassionate professionals that give you above and beyond care the minute you step foot into the office.
Doctor Pinakin Jethwa is a prodigy in his field. He gave me back my hope and faith in healing.
Thank you for giving me this opportunity of a review.
Thank you Doc J, for giving me a quality of life, I had all but given up on.

Dr. Jethwa is an amazing doctor. He is so gentle, compassionate, and knowledgeable. He takes the time to explain everything concerning the reason for being in his office. You won’t feel like your being rushed out of his office or exam room like some others can make you feel. I have 13 vertebrae cemented due to osteoporosis and also have a 2-3 inch lipoma in my spinal cord. I’ve been a back pain sufferer for many years but especially the last four. I suffered especially with lower back and leg pain. I’ve tried many injections to only have a pain free period of approximately a week. Finally my pain management doctor recommended Dr. Jethwa. He recommended a spinal fusion at my L4&5, and L5; S1 vertebrae. He explained every single aspect of the surgery and what would happen during and after it. The final decision was mine. I am 62 yrs old with COPD and osteoporosis, like I said before, so I was quite concerned about the whole thing. I am now 2 months out from the surgery and I feel wonderful. I cannot believe the results. I am pain free in my legs and am currently in physical therapy. The therapist cannot believe how well I am doing. I give the Glory first to God and then to Dr. Jethwa! He is an amazing surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone. If you’re facing any issue involving your back or any other problem in his field of expertise, put your trust in him for he is great. Thank you Dr. Jethwa that I can walk instead of shuffling, walk upright, ride a bike, hold my Grandson, stand for a period of time which I couldn’t do before and many other things we take for granted. You’re the best!

I was referred to Dr. Jethwa by my pain Mgt doctor Dr.Jani at Garden State Medical Center in Manchester. Dr. Jani picked the perfect doctor for me. Dr. Jethwa is very calm in his bedside manner. He read all of my reports from my MRI’s and X-rays, as well as Dr. Jani’s report.
He asked me about my history with my back and neck issues. I knew my neck was bad, but I didn’t realize how bad it was until he told me, and that I needed surgery to get relief from the agonizing pain I had been suffering with for the last 5 months after I re-injured it.
He explained what he was going to do during the surgery. He would be replacing a few of my discs with a man made substance instead of a cadaver, because of my age (57) and how women my age don’t produce a lot of calcium, which made sense to me. He also would be building a bridge to stabilize my vertebrae.
He was very thorough, and he asked if I had any questions and I wasn’t intimidated by him in the least, which I have been by some doctors in the past. I will say that his down to earth demeanor was so comforting while discussing a very serious surgery, spinal surgery.
I was told everything that would happen during and after the surgery, and he was spot on.
I was very grateful that I didn’t have to wear a neck collar afterwards, it only would have made me more uncomfortable.
It’s been a little over a year since my surgery, and my neck is great and I don’t have any pain like I did prior to the surgery, as well as full use of my right arm.
If you’re debating if Dr. Jethwa is the surgeon for you, I give him 5 stars, 2 thumbs up and he fixed my very busted up neck/spine wonderfully.
Stop debating and make an appointment and set a date for your surgery.

Dr. Jethwa operated on me, and did a procedure that could have caused a lot of issues if left un-operated on in the future. He is a great doctor and a great surgeon. 5 stars and am thankful for him.
