If I could rate only Dr Abanilla I can say that he is such an exceptional Dr who is knowledgeable and he cares about his patients.
My 1 start review is for the person at the front desk her name is Ashley. She made it absolutely impossible for my husband to be able to see the Dr. I hope I can get the chance to talk to Dr Abanilla about this. I have several people complaining about the office staff at this location. Many people who are not as rude and arrogant will be happy to do this job and work for such a good Dr.

DO NOT USE Dr. Abinella no matter the situation. Wants to Keep you in a center for the most days and time. Patient input is not wanted or appreciated. Do not use!!

Been a patient for 2 decades. Can’t say enough about this intelligent physician. Always keeping up to date with technology and advancements to assist with the care of his patients. Have seen him in and out of his office and he has always made me feel he is genuinely concerned. Staff is always helpful and accommodating. I don’t know if any other nephrologist or hypertension specialist I’d imagine could replace him. Thank you for all you do and have done.

I've been under Dr Abanillas care for many many years we have been through my native kidneys failing for many years, then we tackled Dialysis at clinic when the time came now he continues to take care of me and my transplant which is now going on 19 years old >thank you to my mother for beinging a living donor ?
He is very thorough, he doesn't rush you. He always has your best interest
first. He Knows his stuff. Very educated.
Great staff, good call returns, also no
problems getting refills.
Highly recommend.

My mom had been seeing another kidney specialist in town for the last ten years. I began going with her to her appointments when she was diagnosed with Stage IV kidney disease. At the previous Dr, the first appointment I accompanied her on we waited 2 hours in the waiting room. On the second 1 1/2 hours. My mom was encouraged to go down to the dialysis center because they stressed the need to get a port & visiting the center would help her understand the dialysis center. That's when she learned of Dr Abanilla from a patient of there's. How pleasant it is never to wait more than 10 minutes these last 4 years I've been accompanying her at Dr Abanilla's. Dr Abanilla takes his time with you, answers your questions and has helped my mom stay off of dilayasis. Understandably, she will likely one day need dialysis. However, she hasn't needed it yet and her previous Dr was ready to cart her in for the port and get her on dialysis.
