I had a fantastic experience with "Confident Driver driving school", and now I can say I'm a truly confident driver! The instructors were amazing, super patient, professional, and always had the right advice to help me improve. Thanks to their support, I took my road test today at red hook and I passed. If you're looking to be more than just 'confident' behind the wheel, this is the place for you!
A big thank you to coach Omari, Jose, and Otto for all their guidance, and a special shout-out to Morris, who was there for me when I had some worries. I couldn't have done it without you all!

I took a bunch of lessons with Confident Driver Driving School and had a great experience. I took lessons with Omari, Otto, and Morris because I wanted to take them at different times throughout the day. Scheduling was easy, there were lots of availabilities, and communication great with all three of them. I learned something new from each of them, and they had the same process so it was consistent no matter who I took lessons with. I was a very nervous driver but they were all calm and patient teachers, and they helped me get better in a short amount of time. I was able to pass my road test and get my license with their help! I definitely recommend them.

I engaged “Confidant Driver” at a time in my life when I needed to refresh my driving skills. My instructor/coach was Morris. I was looking for more ”bells and whistles” but instead I found a very experienced teacher who in a non-condescending manner engaged me in the art of driving. He was calm, soft spoken, patient and firm with his instructions. His immediate feedback was not dispensed in a critical or judgmental way. He reinforced his instruction in a gentle manner. I learned what I needed in order to resume driving safely. I would choose Morris again and anyone in his company that he recommended.

Highly recommend this driving school! I worked with Morris and Omari for about a month and just passed my test! They were super patient, knowledgeable, and experienced instructors who prepared me well for the road. Morris even went above and beyond and drove me all the way to Staten island on his day off for my exam because of a scheduling conflict. Great pricing, easy going instructors, experienced with the road test. 10/10

My instructor, Omari, was fantastic! He put me at ease immediately, and gave me great tips to help me feel more confident on the road and highway. Morris, who runs the school, was very accommodating when I had some scheduling issues. Plus, unlike other NYC driving schools I found this company makes it much easier to make appointments for lessons through their online booking system.

I took lessons with Jose and Omari for about 3 months starting from no driving experience. They are great instructors and were easy to learn from. Highly recommend if you’re a nervous driver. Online scheduling is very convenient and Morris is a great manager. I passed my road test in Red Hook in one try 🙂

I very much enjoyed my drivers ed journey with Confident Driving School. The instructors are patient and helpful. The LES and LWS pickup locations represent well what NYC traffic as well as road test conditions are like. The school recommends the Red Hook road test site in BK, which I found to be good a stress-free and low-traffic site to test at. With flexible online scheduling, this is also a highly convenient choice. I highly recommend the school!

Three years ago, I failed my driving test with over 100 points against me. I was confused and didn't understand why my score was so high. Looking back, I realized I wasn’t fully prepared for what safe driving entails, and I wasn’t yet a reliable driver. I took lessons with three incredible instructors: Jose, Omari, and Morris. Each session was packed with invaluable insights that transformed me into a safer, more confident driver. They all knew what I was lacking immediately and zoned in on those errors in our sessions so that I can improve my driving skills. I can still remember vividly Jose continuously reminding me to check my mirrors and blind spots to be more cautious; Omari’s calming and simple advice, boosting my confidence; and Morris encouraging words that gave me reassurance to pass the test. I can wholeheartedly say that students are in excellent hands here. I highly recommend this school and its instructors.
