Used the service through Medichecks and overall it has been dreadful. Referral notes not sent to my GP for months, charged twice for the appointment which took months to get refunded, constantly wait weeks for a reply and have to chase. Absolutely would not recommend.

Using this service via AXA. Awful service. Firstly you to provide all your details again, and new app etc. I called up to get the notes made by Telephone GP, as there was an error, was advice takes 30 days, even though I need the referral urgently. You cannot get appointment anytime. The online process is not great.

I wish I went to Bupa,as they have GP in house.

Terrible service. Practitioner I spoke to didn't let me actually explain my symptoms told me they'd get to that later ! made a lot of assumptions about symptoms and then gave false information which has caused a great deal of anxiety actually. In hindsight I'm not sure how qualified they really were. The prescription service is abysmal and you don't get it for days. The notes disappear from the app all the time. I wouldn't recommend at all if you are anxious about a health concern. Have received amazing care from local private GP service ( more expensive) but it's better to just spend the money.

Literal trash. They took £90 from me then the asked me to sign up for an appt - the appt has to be signed up through an app which crashed over and over preventing any sign up. The customer service who said they might be able to refund me but I’d have to wait days to hear from management. Absolutely waste of time and money

I've had no trouble booking an appointment but its apparent that they are incentivised to turn patients away:

Minor symptoms: call the NHS because its not urgent.
Medium symptoms: Do everything to declare it a pre-existing condition (so go away).
Close to dying: call the NHs because its urgent.

Had an appointment 3 months ago and yet to be referred. My insurer won’t progress my treatment as the medical practitioner who consulted me didn’t complete the paperwork correctly. Chased several times and they tried to blame Axa insurance. It was only when I sent screenshots of the messages saying it was their malpractice that was delaying treatment. They said they’d come back to me and when I chased it up a week later they said the person was away for another week and that it would be best to rebook and appointment and start the process again. No apology, no communication and absolute abomination of customer care and service. You should be embarrassed and provide much better training to your staff and how they communicate customer service. Fail and avoid using if you can. I’ll be asking my company to look at making a better choice of private healthcare providers. My health has suffered for three months longer than needed for no reason other than their failings

A NIGHTMARE. Administrative bungles from start, to well, start as I haven't got anywhere so I'm going back to the NHS. Every step with them has had some admin bungle, from the number of people on my policy, to booking tests with a hospital, to telling me what tests are covered by my policy, with conflicting advice on what procedure to follow next. This is independent of my actual medical insurer. They have been the common denominator through it all.

Good luck to anyone trying to get treated for a stress related condition.

Second time of using this service first was awful no response when I needed them to call they said sorry they were really busy . This time I called the person just said sorry if your pain is bad you need to use emergency services nothing else no interest whatsoever. I tried to book it on the app even worse the forms all filled and cannot submit the request for an appointment due to their internal error. The worse experience ever in healthcare and I am a NURSE as well (35years) so I am not exaggerating I know what compassion and care is and it is not in this service. Absolute awful experience and haven’t even managed to speak to a doctor despite paying my insurance premiums for the last 14 years!
