Doctors of South Melbourne is a truly exceptional practice setting a standard for primary care. I can’t say enough kind words about Dr Michael Macpherson who is one of the best doctors I have ever been lucky enough to meet. As a clinician myself I feel like I have not only been treated but also learned new skills about what it means to be a caring doctor. I am extremely grateful to him and all in the practice who make a significant positive contribution to people’s lives.

Dr Zack Bokhari has been wonderful in seeing my mum recently for post pneumonia checks. Mum is from overseas and had to see a GP in Melbourne, couldn’t have been better seeing Dr Bokhari who put her at ease straightaway and showed a high level of care and attention to detail for his patient. An amazing GP.

I would also like to commend Dr Elaine Sung who has seen my younger child a few times in the past, such a friendly, welcoming, reassuring and knowledgeable GP.

Reception staff are all next level too! Great clinic. ?

I’ve attended this clinic for a while and visited a few different doctors who have all been great however my last 2 appointments have been with Dr Achala Manchanda and she is amazing!
Each appointment she’s been so warm & personable, has explained things to me in a way I’ve never had before and also spoken through options rather than making a decision about my health care on her own. She truly goes above and beyond for her patients.

Been going here since 2020 but today I saw Dr Michael Macpherson and I was feeling so unwell and he just made me feel so comfortable cause I was very scared to see him and him checking me. Anyone please go to this clinic it’s the best clinic in the whole of Victoria wouldn’t go anywhere else. Dr Macphersons bedside manner was absolutely second to none and I felt soooo good after I saw him as he did everything in a timely manner not even rushed me out of the door he listened to my concerns and made me a health plan for me to start my recovery from my sickness. I genuinely thank all of the staff at Doctors of South Melbourne to always making me feel welcome. Dr Macpherson is such an asset to the team thank god he is here at this genuinely wonderful clinic

I love coming here. The clinic is clean, modern and feels welcoming. Receptionists are always lovely and I've seen three separate GPs here who are all wonderful! Dr. Sophie Carter is genuinely the best GP I've had the pleasure of being treated by.
