I’ve been a patient of Dr Feely for the last 15 years. She is among the best doctors I have had in my 67 years. However, now there is never a time when the appointments available are less than about three months away. In addition while Dr. Feely is among the best, the same cannot be said of most of the supporting staff. There are times when they are rude and/or disrespectful to their patients (customers). There is no longer walk in availability and you NEVER see the doctors there without the three month wait. The nurses who see you before you are able to see the doctors seem emotionless and uncaring. I’m not sure if they hate their jobs, but it sure seems like it from a patient’s perspective.

Also, I recently experienced a billing problem that was caused by one of the staff (don’t know whether medical or clerical). I was billed $315 for a Medicare provided annual physical. Medicare denied the claim and there was no one in that office who could tell me anything, much less attempt to research and resolve the billing error. The Medicare coding was incorrect and was denied by Medicare. It took over two months to resolve that stupid error, and in the meantime I was carrying a past due balance with INOVA. In a situation such as that, there is no one willing to help you. I referred this to my insurance broker, who spent a great deal of time getting this resolved with this practice. This is unacceptable!!!!

As a result, I terminated my relationship with Dr Feely today and will no longer go through all of the hoops that you have to jump through dealing with INOVA personnel or getting an appointment in a reasonable period of time.

I’d have better luck making an appointment with the President.

The overall star rating for Dr. Feely is completely inaccurate. She is 100% a 5 star doctor and if you read the reviews, the bad reviews were for staff a long time ago.
Dr. Feely is truly the best doctor I have ever had, and having an autoimmune disease and other ailments, I have seen A LOT. She truly listens, never judges, and will run tests until she finds out how to help. If all doctors were like her, it would be a blessing.

Dr. Feely is an excellent physician. I usually have minimal to no waiting to see her. She is unhurried, thorough and personable. She is conscientious about gathering baselines, sending and refilling prescriptions, making necessary referrals and following up after visits. She is diligent about explaining lab results and test/procedure results promptly. She is quick to respond to messages and answer questions. I have kept her as my primary care physician even since moving a bit far away, because she has provided such excellent care. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Feely provided a high level of care for my husband when we were struggling to treat his complex issue and having a hard time finding a doctor who would treat him with compassion, much less treat him with the most up to date methods and approaches. Dr. Feely was able to do all of that. She communicates well with me through the My Chart app.
It’s an INOVA clinic, which put me off at first because we’ve had lots of poor experiences with desk staff, docs, and scheduling at INOVA clinics. This one stands out as exceptional. The staff is always attentive and friendly, even on the phone. We both see Dr. Feely now and are grateful she and her staff run such a helpful and welcoming clinic. You may have to wait a long time for an appointment. I go to Patient First for urgent needs because I can’t usually get in with Dr. Feely for weeks.
