Just spent 48 hours vomiting after being discharged from A&E with anti sickness tablets missing from my prescription. The following 48 hrs spent trying to get antisickness tabs from my gp. To no avail as receptionists think it's there job to sideline who THEY THINK , should b prioritised. Great Gp' s can't touch base with them . RECEPTIONIST' S R THE NEW DOCTORS. THERE STRESSED AND PISSED OFF. BOY DO THE LET THE PATIENTS KNOW. DISAPPOINTED ?, DISCUSTED

Pre-covid it was an ok practice, you could phone and book appointment for whenever , you also had evening ones for ppl who work. Since covid everything has changed, the only way to book an appointment is to phone at 8am and hope by the time your call is answered there will be appointments left. God forbid you had to call on Monday, in this case prepare yourself for an hour on hold and dialling up. And just to make your experience even better the appointment you are phoning for can only be on the same day. So after finally getting through you then have to wait for gp to call you and this can be literally any time that day…. No more booking ahead or getting appointment when it’s convenient for you. Ive complained to the manager and gp but they just dont care. Also receptionists are pretty rude and unhelpful. Basically everyone at the practice is giving
you a favour to even talk to you . And dr Clark is a horrible unprofessional guy

The doctors have been great. The reception staff need retrained on reception skills, communication skills, politeness skills. The way a pacitent is spoken to is truly unacceptable. Exhausted just tring to get through and when you do they hangup.

Normally i dont write a review but i had to this time. Worst gp practice I've spoken to. Seems not ready to assist. Everytime I call it seems the person on the reception just not ready to help and i am given different messages all time. The receptionist seems to be rude as well. I was very unhappy and upset by this. Hope this is taken into consideration so that in future no one else has to suffer what we went through. Thanks.

Some of the receptionists seem really rude and unhelpful. The doctors are quite good, but first you have to battle your way through the receptionists trying to not give you an appointment. They also make me manually renew my numerous prescriptions every month even though my last practice had no trouble giving me repeat prescriptions. Also ever since Covid it's been practically impossible to get appointments, you have to be able and willing to call again and again. Why don't they use Ask My GP like other practices in the area?

This used to be a really excellent practice but have slowly gotten worse, that is if you can get an appointment to judge the few doctors left. What a crazy system that you can’t book an appointment but have to phone every day to see what’s available. Ideal when you’re working and we wonder why people go to A&E rather than their GP. I’ve tried and failed on at least half a dozen occasions in the last 6 months to get an appointment and gave up. Thank goodness I’ve got private health care but not everyone is in that position. Now looking for a new practice.
