We went to him because of an FAA medical exam. I can't remember the last time that I was in a doctor's office and enjoyed myself. We were not a number, but treated very respectfully. He has a wealth of knowledge and we were extremely impressed. If I needed a neurologist, this is where I would go.

On my initial visit I thought that he was a bit standoffish but on my return visit Doc actually apologized for how he came across originally and advised that it was due to having to give terminal news to one of the other patients ahead of me. He did not break any hippa type rules but durn sure earned my respect.
If you don't want to hear the truth and want to be coddled then seek a different person.
Doc got me set up with an awesome neurosurgeon that preformed the double cervical disc replacement on me in January of 2023.
I am only able to praise both the care and personal interaction from Doc and his staff. Reckon it might be due to not acting like an entitled whiner.

Today was my first time visiting Dr. Cuervo, I must say that I was very impressed with him. Usually the nurse comes to get the patient but to my surprise my came to get me, he asked are you ready? He has a great personality, he was very kind and very patience and gentle. We need more Doctors like him.

Dr. Cuervo is an expert in his field, and probably the most knowledgeable doctor I’ve ever been to of the many doctors I’ve visited! Empathetic to my situation, and truly helped me understand what was going on with the pain I am experiencing! His office got me in for nerve testing on the very day I was referred; that’s amazing! Very Rude staff Specially one of the appointment setter Ileane Dr Delgados secretary i believe thats how to spell her name. I called the manager Debbie And she didn't do anything in-regards of the bad attitude from the staff. In conclusion the the doctor decided not to see my mother for us putting the complaint on one of his staff members. Very unprofessional from his part and staff. THIS WOULD BE THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I will also be reporting him.

I've been to neurologists before who talk to you for 20 minutes and send you on your way with a prescription. Dr. Cuervo took the time to talk with me for nearly an hour about medication, triggers, and treatments. I asked for an alternative to the daily medication for migraines that I take, and he set me up with one with far fewer side effects as well as other options. I've been back for follow ups and everyone at he office has been extremely nice and receptive.

Staff is incredible rude and does not hesitate to be insulting. Dr. Cuervo is a smart man but his bedside manner is lacking in the worst way. My final visit he acted as if my questions bothered him. Talked to me like I was a child.
