Jill is a true professional and so good at her job. She is a competent, patient teacher who is knowledgeable in evaluating an individual's specific needs and making a plan. Jill was able to successfully teach me to use hand controls during a process that instead of being stressful was enjoyable, her feedback was always clear and compassionate. She provided appropriate terminology so that we could review resources that would help recovery overall, including skills that would be needed to successfully drive in the future. Jill is truly a qualified professional. She is knowledgeable, articulate, very patient and skilled. She has a no-nonsense approach that helps you to feel comfortable while evaluating your condition and performing the behind-the-wheel assessment. A year ago I was out for a walk and one of the Titanium rods in my back broke causing my spine to collapse. Portions of my body became paralyzed. I lost use in both of my feet and legs which left me unable to drive. Jill’s experience and expertise has helped me to gain confidence in my ability to drive again even with such disability. I'm glad Jill Kelly provides this valuable service for those who suddenly find themselves facing the dreaded driving test.

Several things about this made it my choice, inspite of the high costs involved:
1. She will work with physicians, individuals and DMV to provide options that enable a person with physicial challenges to continue to drive. As opposed to the stark pass/fail with the DMV, she provides a nuanced approach that asks, "What conditions would enable my client to continue to drive --to continue to have that freedom that benefits their life and that of their partner/family, but also would reduce the likelihood of an accident as a result of their physicial limitations?" (i.e. allowing them to drive only on surface streets, or at certain low-traffic times of day, or within a radius, or only during daylight)
2. She is winsome and personal and It feels as if she's on your side
3. She works with you as to when and where the driving test will take place.
4. She recognizes that some of her clients may make an honest mistake in their driving test that in other arenas might result in having to retake the test. Rather than this black and white approach, she may choose to educate her client as to rules in CO that they might not know, and to allow them to revisit the scenario that resulted in their initial mistake, thus giving them a chance to learn and grow and become a better driver.
5. She does her utmost to put clients at ease while still being cordial and professional..
