I never miss my appointment to see Katie, I have been coming to this office for over 2 years, well so happens I missed my appt on 7/15 because I forgot and I got no reminder text from their office as I normally do. I rescheduled for today 7/16 and they charged me $50 for the missed appointment. That $50 had to be paid before they would let me see Katie today. Of course, there was no practice manager there to speak with and Dr. Gimness was not in the office. So I had no choice but to pay them $50 or not get my medication refills as needed. They told me they did not know when the practice manager would be in the office to speak with her, my isn’t that convenient. They are losing me as a patient over this.

Dr Gimness is a very nice person and a good doctor. I believe he truly cares about his patients. His ARNPs are a mixed bag, most are kind, but a couple are cold and borderline rude. That said - I am no longer a patient because of the front office staff and Office Manager. I had a knee replacement. After which I had 2 appointments scheduled : 1 for a medication refill, 1 for a DexaScan. I called to cancel the DexaScan because I was in too much pain to drive. When I called and explained this I was told I could have the DexaScan when I came in for my med refill appointment. When I arrived a VERY young front office clerk asked what I was there for - I told her DexaScan and med refill. She told me my insurance "doesn't allow that to be done at the same time". Seriously - there is no such limitation by my insurance company. This is not a bundled service and this is not the first time they tried to make me schedule 2 appointments using the excuse my insurance won't allow it. I told her that was false - my insurance will allow it. She became agitated and frustrated immediately - told me she couldn't check me in unless I picked one. She insisted - again - that my insurance won't allow both at the same visit. I checked in for a med refill. Then I told her it was offensive to be lied to, that patients should be told the truth - that the doctor wants to get paid for 2 visits instead of one. I can understand a business policy - but don't LIE about it and falsely blame the insurance company. I said this in a low voice - and only to her. This YOUNG girl then burst into tears and ran to the back of the office. She literally abandoned her post at the front window! Apparently she lacks the maturity and temperament required for her position. They called me back, I was in the exam room with the ARNP when the Office Manager burst in and began to berate me!! (I wondered if this young girl was her relative) I told her to leave. I finished my appointment, got my scripts filled, and left - never intending to return there ever again. Also, I verified with my insurance company if they would pay for the visit if I received both services at the same time - they said yes.
Then the Office Manager actually had the nerve to send me a certified letter that I refused to pick up. I assume they were kicking me out of the practice. Honestly! Do you really think I ever wanted to see any of you again
His staff should be trained to tell the truth. The physician should put in writing what his policies are for visit activity/limitations and give it to his patients - and staff! A successful physician / patient relationship is based on honesty and trust. Please don't hold yourself up to be a good Christian while lying to your patients. Don't assume your patients are stupid, we understand our insurance benefits.

When meeting with Dr. G he is very thorough. However 90% of my visits are with assistants.

Recently disappointed that upon checking in for an appointment I was told I had missed an appointment 8 months ago and was being assessed a $50 “no show” penalty and since I had misplaced my wallet and couldn’t pay I would have to reschedule my appointment AFTER I paid the penalty.

I was there for a weight loss consultation and a handicap permit application which I was originally told would require TWO SEPARATE appointments. All about milking the system I guess.

Loved Dr. G when I got to see him. Upfront Office staff needs customer service training.

My husband and I have been doing Dr G for almost 6 years now. He is very thorough, caring, takes time to listen and address all your concerns.
My son has been seeing him for 3 years now and will not see any other doctor. My daughter that lives in West Palm Beach is also seeing doctor Gimness. She does telemedicine consult and when necessary comes to visit and sees him in office. His staff is great. What he does in his private life is none of my business. I am there to get great medical attention and that is what I receive from Dr Gimness. Thank you to him and his staff for taking care of my families medical needs .

Honestly the best doctor I have ever met. Before I started seeing Dr gimness I went to approximately 15 doctors . No other doctor took the time to really figure out what was causing all my medical issues. I waited a few months for a new patient appointment but I am really glad I did. It's been two years and I'm appreciative for his care, warmth and sincerity. Also his staff are the best. Always cheerful and professional.

Been seeing Dr Gimness sense January 2016 he’s been the only Dr to get my thyroid issues under control. Staff is always friendly. If I can’t ever get a appointment with him I will see his Nurse practitioner Jennifer she is very caring and willing to help you in anyway.
