I have been going to Dr. Ahktars office for several years. He is an excellent doctor. I have never experienced any of the negative situations I have read about in some of the comments here. He does not have the best bedside manner that other doctors may have but I do not go see him to have a friendly conversation. I want a competent doctor and a responsive staff. And his office has that.

I wouldn’t even give this clinic or doctor a 1 Star, but since this is a rating system...
My mother has been waiting on some medical issues to be addressed for a VERY LONG time now and there is a complete disregard for her and no empathy or compassion. Her life is on the line and the complacency of this doctor and staff is deplorable. I am hopeful my mom will seek her medical attention elsewhere ASAP. The way this doctor speaks to his patients is very demeaning. A kind bedside manner is not what you will receive here. I would highly recommend anyone to steer VERY CLEAR of this practice/doctor Akhtar.

Dr Harvard helped me when no one else would. I'm still struggling rho because of the medication I was put on years ago was a high dosage but I've been in these meds since I was 25 and I'm49 now. I have been cut do far back I can't function and I had to let my son go study with my parents. I cry every night cause I don't have my 10 year old son with me and when he calls begging to come out before my heart?to tell him no cause mommy is not able to look after him. Back when I was on my high dosage my orthopedic surgeon couldn't behind i was not on a higher dosage but he can't treat me long term so I'm back to square one sibling and trying to live the best I can say to day but my depression is coming back with a vengeance and I've got to give up my anxiety meds also. Don't know how much longer I can hang on 1st this rate but like I said Dr Aktbar is at least giving me some relief but I'm not gonna be able to live in this pain like this much longer and with my depression on top of it. I've already prepared my will so my kids don't have to do it. Good luck to everyone that's in the same situation I'm in. Oh one last thing I know several people that gets way more pain meds than I got and they either sell them or get high off them and that pisses me off because I really really need mine like it was and can't get it but these people can. And I have never never had a urine or blood test to come back without my meds in my system and clean of everything else. Thanks for reading my short story.

Someone I know went to this man asking for help that she has a problem and he turns ppl away. So I guess he’d rather ppl OD and die then help ppl that are strong enough to go ask for help. This MAN is a joke!!! I guess you have to have track marks on your body and have to look like a junky to get help.
He talks down to people and straight up told her she needed to go seek help somewhere else, he was not going to help her. This is why ppl die bc they ask for help they come to u and need ur help and u turn them away. You don’t even deserve a one star or MD behind your name. Drs are suppose to help ppl and that you DONT DO
