The online course was great and very informative for my daughter but the after effect of dealing with the Office Manager, Chad Henry, was a disaster to say the least!
On October 11, 2018, my daughter signed up for this course via online and completed the Course on the same date. After completion of the course she was offered a $10 Refund for completing a survey. BEWARE OF THIS SCAM! The $10 Refund was never posted in her account! On October 25th my daughter's account reflected an attempt to deduct the $10 from her account from this course which raised a red flag! Why would this company still have access to my daughter's account information? On October 31st, my daughter contacted the company's office located in Garland texas and spoke with a gentleman named Diego. My daughter spoke with him in reference to her account about an attempt to deduct $10 from her account, he told her he would look into it and call her back! Unfortunately when Diego called back, he didn't have a real explanation as to why this happened but offered to mail a check for $10 which would not make sense seeing that by the time it was cashed it wouldn't amount to $10 anymore!
My daughter asked to speak to a Manager who then spoke with my daughter and stated that she would be receiving the $10 Refund. No sooner than we hung up the phone, me and my daughter went to the store to make a purchase and her card was declined? Why? Well, the Texas adult driver education class deducted the $10 from my daughter's debit card without her consent. I called Mr. Henry, asked him who authorized this company to deduct money from my daughter's card? Mr. Chad Henry became agitated, verbally abusive, defensive, screaming very loudly over the telephone at me and my daughter. I asked him several times about the unauthorized use of my daughter's debit card and why her information was still available 2 weeks after the course was completed! Mr. Henry tried to justify the transaction but was not successful. He stated that the $10 that was taken out of my daughter's account would post back on her account within 2 days! Still not admitting that this was a fraudulent transaction, he became very irate! Mr. Henry promised to deliver the $10 in person but never did! My daughter was very upset because this company stole $10 from her account.
Listen clearly, what this company ( texas adult driver education) does is SCAM people! You pay for the course, they tell you about the $10 Refund your due after completion of the survey, finally they deduct the $10 from your account then they put the $10 back on your card to make you think they're giving you $10 but it's your own money!! Nice try Mr. Henry but you are a scam artist and a thief! No company should ever keep anyone's personal information or ask for someone's personal information, where do you live, how much money do you have in your account, do you work, these are the questions that were asked by Mr. Chad Henry! My daughter had to contact her bank and warn them about this scam! Mr. Chad Henry, the office Manager should be investigated due to this fraudulent scam. Nowhere have I ever experienced this kind of treatment! Unauthorized use of someones debit card is illegal and should be investigated! I will be reporting this company as well as Mr. Henry's unprofessional demeanor. I will warn everyone, DO NOT USE YOUR DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD WITH THIS COMPANY! Moving forward, we are seeking legal advice, and have proof of the illegal transaction made from this company!
