I generally agree with what was said on the other review. I used SIA to prepare for my SIE exam.

Most frustrating part of the experience was the Green light exam. That was one of the main reasons that I selected Securities Institute of America. Unfortunately, I got a 45% after thoroughly reading the textbook and spending well over the recommended 10hrs. on practice tests. The questions were WAY harder than what you see in the textbook and test bank. It's pretty obvious that they don't want to pay anyone who fails the SIE exam after passing the Green light exam. It just feels like a scam.

Fortunately, I passed the SIE but if I had to do it again, I'd select another provider. Setting aside the green light exam, the website was not user friendly, the videos were not engaging, and there were numerous typos / poorly worded questions. Good luck if you choose to use this program...I guess the good news is that you can still pass!

This company does NOT honor their return policy if you end up failing the SIE exam. I studied for months using their materials, but I unfortunately failed the test by 3 questions. I reached out to them to request a refund, but to my surprise, they not only have not refunded me, but after replying back to them on more than one occasion, they seem to have just flat out ignored my inquiry and I haven't heard back from them. Very unlikely that I'll be using their services again.
